Changes

Many people have told me 'blink and you will miss it' when talking about babies and parenthood.  With my eldest I never really felt like this.  Yes she grew up too fast but I remember each day and spending every hour of the day with her she had all my attention.  Today I had my first realisation of my little babies grown up, where has the time gone?

I had called into the local supermarket to pick up a few bits, my eldest at nursery, so had only my youngest with me.  Normally I would use a trolley with a reclined baby seat in, but today this was not an option, so I had to use a normal big trolley. I was very nervous about putting her into the seat of the trolley but I had no choice.

Well as you can see she loved it.  She was smiling at everyone as we walked round and munching away on her carrot stick crisps.  I could not believe how much she was enjoying it.  That's when it hit me, she is sat up  by herself in a trolley seat.  She is no longer a little tiny baby, she is growing into a lovely little girl.

I cannot believe where the time has gone or the changes that have happened.  I really feel like I blinked and she grew up.  While I am upset my tiny baby is growing up, I am also excited because I know the next part of the journey is even more exciting, as she learns to walk and talk!

This day I love changes.

Yep, it has happened fast when you look back from where I'm standing and I miss those littlies especially since we spent so much time together home educating. (See my blog for stories) So you enjoy yours to the full whilst I enjoy your posts now! Best wishes. x
