The night before Christmas

We all, I think, know the story 'twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring not even a mouse....' This traditional story is brought to life with beautiful artwork by Henry Fisher. This is simply a magical story which has brought back to me some wonderful childhood memories and started some lovely new ones, snuggled with the girls under the duvet reading to them.

The story sticks to the original, as I remember it, and the girls love to call out the reindeer names with me. Whilst the illustrations are beautiful there are some parts in the story where the font colour hides the words making it difficult to read in parts. Thankfully because its a story I know well it doesn't matter so much.

The sparkling front cover and the images of Santa and his reindeer has meant this is a story the girls keep picking up to read at bed time. This will be a story we can read for many Christmas to come. Thanks to Parragon for our Christmas Book Buddy.
