Team Honk

Last year a group of bloggers formed #Teamhonk.  They travelled to Ghana to see the wonderful work for Comic Relief, you can see the post card I was sent here.  This year Team Honk are back and they need our help.  Yes, you and me and everyone.

For Sport Relief 2014, Team Honk are organising a relay from John O'Groats to Lands End.  They need our help.  The Yorkshire part of the relay takes place on February 28th and ends on March 2nd.  We pick up the Baton from the Derby team and hand over to the Hull team.  [for full relay details see here].  Each part of the relay has its own Facebook group, where you can join to keep up to date.  If on twitter you can follow via @team_honk.

Ok so what do we need:

1. Help promoting the relay itself.  Please help spread the word.  Let's help to smash the amount raised from last year.

2. Please sponsor our team, every little really does make a difference.  You can donate via text too,Text HONK to 70005 and donate £5 to Sport Relief.

3.  Take part in the relay!

Whilst I don't know the ins and outs of all the other sections of the relay, the Sheffield - Hull section looks like this [at the moment]

On Friday 28th February Spencer [adadcalledspen] and myself will be taking the baton on a magical mystery tour of Barnsley.  Spencer has written a brilliant post here which summarises everything.

Saturday 1st March sees more fun and antics as we aim to raise as much money as possible for Sport relief.
Sunday 2nd March I will be flying the baton over to Hull, ready for all the fun the Hull team have planned!

Please do get involved and help us to raise as much as we can.  I shall keep you updated as our plans unfold.
