Daisy chains and pine cones

Sometimes its the simple things that make you the happiest.  The girls and I had a day out together, along with some of our friends.  We put away technology and simply had fun playing.  I made a daisy chain for my eldest and showed her how to make them.  She was so pleased Mummy had made something for her and wore her daisy chain with a huge smile on her face.

My youngest had gone for an explore and loved her freedom to run around and my eldest loved when I started rolling down hills with her

The girls were giggling and having lots of fun running and playing.  My youngest then made a rather important discovery and came running over rather pleased

Look Mummy, Look Mummy she was shouting very pleased with herself.  Then stops and asks what it is.  She had found a pine cone!

I hid our Joules rabbit which was from Britmums live in the grass and my youngest found him.  She thought it was funny that the rabbit was eating grass for his lunch.

After all the running around and exploring it was time to visit the playground.  The girls have wanted to play on the see saw for some time, but my youngest has never been able to steady herself before.  It was so great to finally be able to see them do this.

  4. What a lovely time! I am far too guilty of having technology with me everywhere and I should definitely have times where we switch off and just play! I made a daisy chain for LP once and she LOVED it! Children are so easily pleased. Definitely getting outdoors today! x
