A Yorkshire raffle

by - 22:09

As you know I am very proud to be from Yorkshire. So when I was contacted recently to help raise awareness of Myeloma through a Yorkshire giveaway how could I say no.

For those unfamiliar with Myeloma,

'Multiple Myeloma is a rare form of cancer that affects the plasma cells (a type of white blood cell), which create various anti-bodies to form part of your immune system. Myeloma means that these plasma cells become abnormal and only release one type of useless antibody that has no function in fighting against disease.

As a result the Cancer affects multiple areas of the body, usually where bone marrow is active within adults such as the spine, skull, pelvis, arms etc.

With a full list of possible symptoms and complications, fighting and living with this type of cancer is difficult. But with an increase of awareness, Myeloma UK is helping not only support, but research and develop a cure for all stages of this aggressive form of Cancer, which is why your donations mean so much to those effected.'

Myeloma UK receive no government or NHS funding and it is therefore vital to raise money to hep support the essential research and the support that is given to patients.

If you would like to take part in the raffle and be in with a chance of winning all you need to do is follow this link and follow the instructions.

(Thisdayilove is in no way affiliated with this giveaway, I was asked to share and thought it a worthy cause to share)
