A half term lunch treat

We were out and about on Sunday and decided to treat the girls to lunch at a Beefeater restaurant near to us.  The Brecks is situated near to both J33 of the M1 and J1 of the M18.  From the outside you maybe forgiven in thinking that it might not be much inside, but step through the doors and a whole new experience awaits.

A warm hello

The Brecks has recently been refurbished and the modern interior is clean and fresh.  Staff are friendly and welcoming and there is a warm friendly atmosphere.  Families are definitely made to feel welcome and children of all ages are catered for.

The girls began by choosing their own lunch.  As their menu was all photos they could easily see what was on offer and make their own choices

My husband and I had rather difficult choice to make, everything looked great.  I decided to go for the Sunday Lunch, it was Sunday after all, and my husband went for the special as recommended.  The girls were kept entertained whilst we were waiting for dinner to arrive.  They had an activity book to do and colouring pencils for drawing.

Our dinner arrived and it looked fantastic

Our server promised the girls if they ate their dinner they could have a balloon and this spurred them on.  She kept her word and the girls were given a balloon.

We decided to treat the girls to desert, which I have to say were simply amazing.  The girls took on the chocolate challenge and for the most part won

We had a really lovely afternoon at the Brecks and would certainly go back again for lunch or dinner one day

We were sent a voucher which covered half of our meal costs.  We really enjoyed our lunch at the Brecks and would certainly return again.
