Exploring in the winter sun

We woke up to a frosty morning.  I love frost, I would love it more if it wasn't so cold.   I just love the way frost makes things look, so pretty.  After a frosty start my youngest and I headed to the park to feed the ducks and play outside.

My youngest kept stopping to say hello to the ducks.  We found lots of mud to stomp in and leaves to kick in the air.  Whilst I was busy standing with my youngest, the dogs began to have other ideas.  Lucky for me I looked down before I stood up

My youngest had a lot of fun in the winter sun running between the trees.  It was so beautiful watching her play and explore.  Giggling as I chased her through the leaves

We had so much fun running around in the woods.  It was lovely listening to her giggle and ask to be chased, I think she loved it too.

This day I love exploring in the winter sun

  1. It's always great exploring in the winter sun, and it looks like you really made the most of the frosty morning. Everything looks so tranquil where you were. Your daughter looks like she's having a great time burning off some of her energy. Thanks for linking up with Country Kids.

  2. Winter sun is sooo beautiful! Well, any sun (to me) is just beautiful! But this day certainly sounds like quite a splendid one indeed! Baby Boy and I will go out in the sun today, which has shown up again after a few days of rain and overal dreary-ness! :)

  3. I know what you mean about frost being beautiful, but not loving the cold that goes with it. Your photos are beautiful.
