Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai

Watching a Cirque du Soleil performance has been high on my wish list for many years.  The dedication the whole team has, as well as the attention to detail for each performance is something I have longed to see.  Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai has been touring the UK and we were invited to attend the opening performance in Leeds.

Varekai is an extraordinary world set deep within a forest at the base of a volcano.  A world where anything is possible. The word Varekai (pronounced ver·ay·’kie) means “wherever” in the Romany language of the gypsies—the universal wanderers.

The story is such that it is suitable for the whole family, whilst we only had 2 tickets I would certainly want to return to visit with the girls.  I think the girls would be incredibly moved by the outstanding performance.  Both girls love their gymnastics lessons and I think if they were to see Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai it might inspire them further.  I am finding it hard to write a review as Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai was everything I had imagined a Cirque du Soleil performance would be like and more!

Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai is about to embark on its current final stretch in Glasgow and I would highly recommended taking the family along to the show before it ends.

We were provided with two tickets to Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai
