I'm not sure if random is the best way to describe today but it seems rather fitting.
The girls have started tag teaming sleep, which means I always have one awake. After waking up at 4.30 am this morning my eldest decided she was tired and for reasons known only to her, grabbed the rug and laid under the jumperoo
After a few minutes of doing this she promptly went back to playing.
After we got dressed I brushed my eldest hair. Her hair had all clumped together. My eldest had glue on her finger and had twiddled her hair meaning her hair was very knotty. I told her her hair was knotty to which she said 'Like a cow Mummy', I'm not sure what she means by that but I asked her again and she said the same thing.
She found an old wallet of my husbands that had a few pieces of foreign currency in. She came running up to me and said 'Mummy I have found pennies, now hurry up lets go shopping' If only we could spend the foreign [and out of date] currency.
I love how random our day was. From my eldest having, in her own words, hair like a cow and finding the travel money. To my youngest who spent most of the day emptying my cupboards.
This day I love those random things
