In the blink of an eye a year has past.
What a year it has been. My Little Man has filled our home with nothing but pure love and joy. Everyone who meets him comments at how good he is, how lovely he is or how handsome he is. I am so incredibly proud of him and all he has done this past year.
I am struggling to write this post, to sum up Little Man and his first year. He is just amazing. I love that I spend all day with him and that when he sees his sisters he gets excited. I love that when he gets excited his whole body shakes and his legs kick. I love how he now protests if he doesn't want to do something. I love how he knows exactly what he wants and figures out a way to get it. I love how much he loves Pointless and refuses to watch anything else. I love how much he loves food. I love that he is incredibly inquisitive. I love that he climbs everything.
His laughter is just infectious, he giggles at most things and is incredibly ticklish especially on his chin. His favourite game is peek a boo, which he tries to play with anything and anyone. I 100% believe he thinks he is a dog. He pours water onto surfaces and then tries to drink it by placing his face on it. If not drinking it he is playing in it. Whilst he has walked with furniture for several months and can walk whilst pushing something, he simply refuses to walk unaided. Instead crawling everywhere, which he is incredibly quick at doing. He loves to sing row row and happy and you know it. He claps at most things, waves goodbye and hello and even blows kisses. He is very independent and will happily play by himself before crawling over and resting his head on your lap for a cuddle before heading back to play again.
My Little Man is turning into such a wonderful little boy. I hope he never looses that inquisitiveness, or his loving streak. He is such a joy to be with every day and I am so incredibly lucky that I get to spend everyday with him. I am so excited to see the next year unfold.
This day I love in the blink of an eye
