AD Christmas Experience at Lotherton

We are incredibly grateful to have been invited to Lotherton to experience their Christmas Experience on press night. It has become part of our Christmas tradition now to visit Lotherton Christmas Experience and every year we create more memories together as a family.

This year only two of my children were able to attend, and so guided by the eldest and Little Man we began with a festive walk. The walk features interactive installations that celebrate Christmas. We followed the path of lights and sounds and danced our way through the woodland. The woodland walk leads to the formal gardens which were glowing with Christmas lights and the fairy dell with its magical fairy houses.

After our woodland walk we headed into the Hall to warm up. As has become tradition the children now try to work out as many poses as possible in front of as many trees as possible. The Hall and rooms are filled with an amazing selection of trees and traditional decorations, so they were spoilt for choice!

We had a wander around the Elf village but decided not to do the crafts this year. Neither child was interested in having their face painted either but it was available. After a pit stop for some food in the Yuletide yurt we headed over to the North Pole to see Mrs Claus and decorate some gingerbread.

The Elves we bumped into were rather cheeky and decided to take a few selfies!

We did however manage to meet Santa in the North Pole and as is always the case the children decided they wanted something for Christmas that wasn't on their list they have already sent!

We had a magical night exploring Lotherton Christmas Experience and would like to say a huge thank you to inviting us.
