When the girls were babies I can remember that the majority of clothes were pink. There did not seem to be much variation on this, and as I am not a fan of pink I used to stare longingly at the boys section where the choice was much better. Patterns, colours and characters with no pink in sight. I will admit to buying items from the boys sections for the girls to wear.
In my quest to find none pink items I would hunt down online baby boutiques, as they often stock much more variation. Now Little Man is here and it seems by love of the unique continues, as I once again find myself looking at online baby boutiques.
Little Chickie is one such baby boutique. They offer clothing and gifts for baby and toddler. With new brands I had not heard of before, to multi award winning and ethical brands, there is something for everyone.
Little man is currently in that awkward phase of clothing, were some 0-3 months are too tight but some newborn clothes he still fits into. Given his current constant demand for feeding I think he is due a growth spurt and so I ordered size 3-6 months from Little Chickie. They are currently too big for Little Man but I would rather this than they be too small or to only last him a week or two.
Dungarees are one of my favourite pieces for Little ones. I loved watching the girls toddle round in theirs, and our first photo shoot pictures all of my children are in dungarees. It perhaps goes as no surprise therefore that I could not resist this corduroy pair from red kite,
Also from Kite is this incredibly soft red hoody. Perfect for those colder summer evenings or early Autumn days.
Whilst Little Man is still little I am intending on him wearing sleepsuits and rompers the majority of the time. Pigeon Organics has some bright bold patterns to choose from, with my favourite the elephant print. As you would expect the romper is soft to the touch and comes with a rather novel feature. The romper can be worn with or without feet, as the feet part simply unroll as needed.
It is safe to say I will be ordering a lot more from Little Chickie!
Little Chickie sent me the items mentioned in exchange for my honest opinions
