Recently I have been a little behind on the blog, many apologies for this. I have been involved in an amazing project for the National Trust and the 50 things to do before you are 11 3/4. The girls and I have been undertaking the list for some time now and after meeting with the National Trust we decided to come up with an idea to promote the list. The idea was to create a video.
Myself and Lisa (Hollybobbs) set out on a search to find 50 bloggers to help us undertake the video. Each blogger took one activity and filmed the activity before sending it to myself for editing. I then had the challenge of editing together all 50 videos to make one video.
For the editing I used MAGIX movie edit pro. The software is packed full of features. It allowed me to edit each of the 50 videos to create short clips. I could then add each of these clips together and move them around to position correctly within the video. I was very impressed with how easy the software was to use and it was great that there was also the option of help 'how to videos' if I needed them. Finally I added captions to each clip along with scrolling credits at the end.
MAGIX movie edit pro has so many more features that I did not use, such as altering camera angles and adding multiple videos together. It is such a powerful piece of software and great for anyone who wants to do any video editing.
