Big fish Little Fish

I love to give my children different experiences, and this blog has allowed them to take part in some amazing opportunities.  A first for them occurred last weekend when we were invited to a child friendly rave.  Big Fish Little Fish promised to be fun for all the family and give children a real rave experience.

The rave was held in a proper night club in the centre of Sheffield, and with a well known DJ.  I loved watching all the adults relive their youth raving only with the addition of their children.  The fully stocked licensed bar perhaps helping.

The children were well taken care of, with an area dedicated to the toddlers and babies.  Plenty of sensory games and sat at the back of the club was much quieter than the rave itself.

Little Man was fascinated by the glow sticks and all the flashing lights.  All children were given glow sticks upon entry and I loved that babies were included too

He soon began to play with the balls in the ball pit, he seems to love ball pits!  Even having a wiggle to certain beats.

As well as a licensed bar for the adults, they were also serving cakes and yummy fruity ice lollies.  My eldest decided she would rather dance than eat ice lollies which meant my youngest had two ice lollies!

Little Man fell asleep and the girls became blurs on the dance floor.

They chased balloons, got covered in glitter from the glitter cannons and popped bubbles that were all fired into the crowd.

The girls loved everything from the glow sticks to the music and it is an experience they are still talking about a week later.  They even wanted to take their glow sticks to school to show their teachers.

It is safe to say the girls loved their first rave experience, and Little Man loved all the sensory play too!  We shall be on the look out for the next event by Big Fish Little Fish as they are really family friendly and such great fun

This day I love Big fish Little Fish.
