Reindeer and an Aeroplane
I always try to fulfil the wishes of my children, although sometimes it can be very difficult. When my eldest is asked what she wants for Christmas her current response is Reindeer and an Aeroplane please. Now I'm not sure how I can make this happen for her but I am trying.
Today I took the girls to Wentworth Castle. Wentworth Castle has a special event on at the moment, Christmas at the Castle. They have a really lovely family themed trail around the gardens in which to find the 12 days of Christmas. My eldest however was more interested in splashing in the puddles
The main reason I had decided to take them to Wentworth Castle was for the Deer feeding. I am so glad we did. There were Deer in every direction. My eldest just did not know where to look and was amazed at how close they came. She loved watching them eat.
It really made me smile when she decided to sign Reindeer too:
We ventured back inside the long barn where there was a selection of Christmas art to Colour and the chance to write a letter to Father Christmas. Once we had written the letter we put it in the postbox. After a short while we even got a reply back from him. My daughter really loves that Father Christmas has written her a letter.
The girls and I ventured back outside and we found a house in the woods. When we rang the bell we were greeted with a Ho Ho Ho, and an Elf opened the door, inside was Father Christmas. I don't think my eldest could quite believe her luck that she had found Father Christmas again.
She once again asked for a Reindeer and an Aeroplane, but then said she wanted to go see the Reindeer outside. I felt slightly happier knowing I had at least achieved one thing she wants for Christmas.
This day I love Reindeer and an Aeroplane
