At 8.30am my eldest daughter came running up to my youngest who was in her baby walker looked at her and smiled. Then for the first time she said ' I love you sister' gave her a big kiss and cuddle and ran away. This is the first time she has ever said I love you and the first person to say it to wasn't mummy or daddy who say it to her hundreds of times a day but to her baby sister.
I will always be able to look back on this day and remember with a smile regardless of what the rest of the day brings. It will always be the day I remember that my daughters really do love each other.
This day I love you sister.
