When I was younger I loved nothing more than exploring outdoors. I still do only my exploring is a little limited having two kids in tow, plus I now get strange looks when I jump in the puddles! My daughter seems to have taken on this passion and loves nothing more than exploring outside.
I encourage her to explore outside as I want her to grow up wanting to play outside and be active. During our walk today she asked what the piles of mud were on the ground, I said mole hills. To this she got very excited as she has heard many a time that we walk up or down hills, and so that is what she did. Every one that we saw she walked up jumped on the top and walked back down again.
Our dog not wanting to be left out, dug each and every one. Towards the end of the walk part of our path had flooded. To my daughter this was like heaven, her eyes light up and she went splash in puddle and off she went.
Once again J thought this was a good idea so joined in
They had so much fun splashing in the puddles together and I have to say I was rather jealous.
This day I love Muddy puddles and Mud Piles.

I still love jumping in mud puddles, too! I have really fond memories of exploring at my grandmother's house, fun paths and puddles!
