A special Valentines Giveaway
My 1st years is a company I often look to for gifts which can be described as 'Made with love'. I am a big fan of personalised items and they have never disappointed me. There is a huge variety of gifts available for Valentines day and some cards too. My favourites include the engraved slate heart and the I love My Mummy Mug and chocolates.
With next week Valentines My 1st Years have given this day I love readers the chance to win a present for Valentines day.
The prize for one lucky reader is a [name] Heart [name] teddy bear. The bear is personalised with your choice of names in a colour and font to suit. The bear is machine washable and made from brand new poly fibres, it measures 64 cm top to toe. This would make a perfect Valentine gift for any age.
For a chance to win one of these super soft and adorable bears please follow the instructions on the raffle-copter below. Please note this competition will end on Tuesday 12 th February, the winner will then be contacted via email, after entries have been verified. The winner will need to provide an address for My 1st Years to ship the bear to. Good Luck.

ReplyDeleteMy Best Valentines present was a single red rose. Beautiful xxx
ReplyDeleteWe've been together for 30 years and in all that time I've received nothing - he says it's just commercial hype and a way for retailers to make money - so I won't be expecting anything this year either
ReplyDeletemy favourite present was from my little boy one year when he was about 5 years old and he made me a little heart cookie at school xx
ReplyDeleteMy worse present from my boyfriend was a frame with my name 'Wendy' directly translated into chinese characters, written with ink. The problem is that I am Chinese, I can write Chinese and most importantly have my own Chinese name so the name that was on the frame was not my original Chinese name. So now I have a frame in my room with some other girls name on it which confuses my mum to why its up there. But he gave it to me so I kept it.
ReplyDelete......my best - my engagement ring in Paris

ReplyDeleteA lovely gold necklace has been my best
ReplyDeleteI always love flowers
ReplyDeleteHave never had a valentines gift - and my husband and I don't even exchange cards :(
ReplyDeleteThe bear itself is beautiful, but the idea behind it is by far the best, I love the thought that has gone into this, something personalized is always more special. I would love to be able to present the one I love with something a little different.
ReplyDeleteIn keeping with valentines day and the theme of love, I'd like to share my thoughts on the subject with you, I hope that you can relate <3
Love cannot be described by words alone, sometimes life cannot even be described with actions, for it is a force more powerful than anything we know, a magnetic pull that alters our brainwaves, quickens our heart-rates and creates butterflies inside our stomachs...there are so many different kinds of love, for your family, for your partner, for your friends, even for your pets altering our perceptions and framing who we are, and how we interact with others. Every person in the human race searches for love, that is our purpose, that is what drives us, comfort, acceptance, warmth...But if I had to choose words that describe what I personally think of love, then these would be them:
When you're allowed to choose a soppy romantic film, even though your boyfriend hates it.
When you share everything, secrets, food even your beer.
Holding hands in a crowd, feeling as though you're the most important person in the world.
When he gives up his jacket to keep you warm, even though he told you it was cold and you should bring a warmer coat with.
When he makes you presents, origami, cards
Or glues your shoes back together, even though he despises that pair.
Snuggling at night,
When he gets up from bed to close the window because you're cold, even though he is dying of heat.
Being taken for romantic dinners
Running you a bubble bath after a long and upsetting day
Buying you a notebook, because you love to write
Being told you're the most beautiful girl in the world, and when you look into his eyes, you believe it.
Going camping, even though you are a city girl, and actually enjoying it because of the company.
All of these things are love, and we all need love, because love makes us want to be better, strive to do more, love inspires us, to be selfless, to give, to compromise, to smile, to laugh, sometimes love hurts, sometimes we lose someone we love, or we find someone we never want to let go, love moves us, we are all capable of it, we all deserve it...
And at the end of the day, love is what really makes the world go round...
The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. That’s what I hope to give my love, forever. <3
This is a beautiful giveaway, the bear itself is adorable, however it is the fact that it is personalized that makes it even better. I love this idea, and I would love to give the one I love something different and special this year. In keeping with Valentines day and the theme of love, I would love to share my thoughts on the subject with you <3
