Review : Justin World apps

My daughter loves Justin Fletcher.  There are no two ways about it, she is crazy about him.  She loves to watch him on CBeebies, she loves to watch the DVDs and now she loves the apps.  Justins World is a range of educational apps from Justin Fletcher.  Each app uses storybooks, puzzles, games, video and music and is combined with some wonderful characters from Justin himself.  The apps follow the Early Years foundation Stage and Primary National curriculum.

There are 4 apps available these are:

Justin’s World – Goldilocks – an interactive adaptation of the popular children’s story. Justin guides and helps you through a series of number and language based activities in line with the EYFS. All characters played by Justin Fletcher

Justin’s World – Letter Sounds – pick the letter that matches the sound then drag and drop to complete the word! Developed in line with the Primary National Strategy, this phonics  activity features Justin teaching the sound and letting the child join in.

jigsongs

Justin’s World – Jigsongs – puzzles but with a special sing along musical twist! Drag the pieces in place to finish the puzzle and watch videos of Justin come to life singing some of his favourite songs. The first release includes Old Macdonald, Twinkle Twinkle, 1,2,3,4,5 and The Grand Old Duke of York.

Justin’s World Animal Sounds - A totally free app to say thank you to all or Justin’s World followers. Join in with Justin’s hilarious impersonations of well known animals

My daughter at 3 years old, loves all of these apps.  They are worth every penny as she plays with them constantly.  Jigsongs is fantastic as it combines jigsaws at different levels of difficulty and when complete the jigsaw comes to life.  Goldilocks is one of her favourite at night time and she loves helping Goldilocks clean and tidy up.  This is such a wonderful game to play whilst learning about number and language.  The Letter sounds app really is one of the best I have found for teaching letters.  It focuses on one letter at a time, and there are a variety of games to play around each letter.  My daughter simply loves them.

If you have a child who is a fan of Justin Fletcher I would say these are a must have.  Even if you have never heard of him before I cannot recommend these enough, full of fun and such an enjoyable way for children to learn.

I was provided with codes to download the apps for free, all words are my own
