Mothercare SS 17 Preview

Last week I had the privilege of attending the Spring/Summer 2017 preview for Mothercare.  Mothercare are a brand I trust and offer great value for money, with clothes that have lasted for all three of my children and toys that have stood the test of time.

The bright colours of the wooden toys caught my attention first.  Made for little fingers to explore and gorgeous colours inviting play.  Not content with a book case Mothercare have revamped the standard bookcase into a gorgeous bus, which I think would be perfect for any of my children.

Another of their bookcase designs is this beautiful house.  I know the girls would love this, and with plenty of storage for both books and toys it would brighten up their rooms and help keep things tidy.

We love to play outdoors and it was lovely to see a whole range dedicated to outdoor play.  Everything from playing games to encouraging imaginative play with gardening tools.  Bubble makers, sand tools and tools to play in water, there is enough to keep children playing outdoors and having lots of fun!

The milestone range was a stand out piece for me.  Trying to take a photo of Little Man with the milestone cards is getting harder now he is mobile and eats everything.  These fab vests would make things so much easier!

The new collection from Julien Macdonald features fun animals set with splashes of pastel colours for girls and mainly blues for boys.  Panda on the girls clothing and Leopold for the boys.  Really fun prints and a beautiful collection.

There is also some stunning occasion wear from Julien Macdonald which would be perfect for weddings or christenings, or even birthday parties!

Mothercare are also partnering with Tommy's.  Tommy's, for those who are not familiar with the charity, help to fund vital research to prevent miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth.  The donations from the sale of their My rainbow baby bodysuits will help to support such a worthy cause and provide hope for many women and their partners.

One of the features I really loved was seeing the dinosaur theme extending from the boys wear into the girls.  My girls love dinosaurs and we often buy bits from the boys section so it is great to see Mothercare catering for those who want pink sparkly dinosaurs as well as the more traditional dinosaur colours.

Of course one of the other amazing ranges with Mothercare is my k by myleene klass.  Sticking with the monochrome theme she is best known for and adding in splashes of colour, the range was very eye-catching with lots of extra detail worked in to make it really stand out.

My favourite piece from this collection though was this top with skirt, how beautiful does this look!
