An evening with Disney

The girls had no idea where we were going when I picked them up from school on Thursday.  Grandma was sat in the car waiting for them, and their excitment began to build.  First wondering if we were going to Grandma's house, then if we were going out to dinner.  By the time we got on the motorway my eldest daughter decided we were going to see Disney On Ice, because one of her friends at school was going that night.  She was absolutely correct.

Both girls are getting tired now as the end of this term draws closer.  A treat was certainly needed for them both.  Disney On Ice have just launched a new show, Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic and so we settled in our seats at the First Direct Arena Leeds to see what would unfold.

It was then that disaster struck.  The memory card I had brought with me was full, and with photos I needed so I could not delete them and the spare memory card refused to work.  I had to use my phone.  Only then Little Man started to create and so I got a few blurry photos.

The show itself though was fantastic.  A whistle stop tour of a lot of Disney classics, which gave us the ultimate Disney experience.  There was something for everyone, from recent Disney films like Frozen to the classics like Pinocchio and everything in between.

In fact we must have seen over 50 Disney characters.   The girls came away with huge smiles on their faces.  Both of them thoroughly enjoying the performance.  I would go as far as saying it is our favourite Disney On Ice performance to date.

This day I love an evening with Disney
