This day I love.......: week 12

I seem to have fallen a bit behind in my 365 posts so am going to do a quick catch up. I have photos for everyday but thought I would instead do a round up post with some of my favourites.

Week 11

Week 11 saw us spending time in the garden and battling with coughs and colds. Busy week with looking after poorly children and spending any time we could outdoors.

Week 12

My Mum and Dad returned from holiday and brought me back a selfie stick, which my eldest wasted no time in working out how to use

I spent ages playing with settings on my camera to try and get a photo of the eclipse and am pretty pleased with what I captured.

My youngest and I went to a special VIP opening day for the Gruffalo experience and it was amazing.

We had a lovely lunch with one of my oldest and best friends. The girls enjoyed playing in the park afterwards.

Week 13

This week was spent at Bluestone in Wales and I cannot wait to write up the post so you can see all our holiday photos. We had an amazing week and the girls have already asked to go back

Welcome to week 12 of Linked.

I took a little Christmas break to spend time with family so Linked is a little later than usual. Linked normal opens on Thursday and runs for the week.

As I put together these photos I actually realised we had done quiet a lot this week, even with the house full of illness again. Sunday we visited the girls Grandparents, it is always lovely watching them play with their cousins. It was really nice to watch them play with a box of toys from the attic that had once belonged to my husband. Monday my youngest developed an obsession with emptying everything out of cupboards and climbing into them, not sure what she was looking for but she kept getting angry when she got to the back of the cupboard. My eldest told me she loved me which was amazing. The sickness bug got worse on Wednesday and with rubbish weather the girls and I spent our time in the local library. Our last Sing and Sign class was on Thursday and we are really going to miss it. I think I am going to miss watching the girls play sleeping rabbits in the class. Friday was very busy, we made snowmen, finished Easter cards, painted and baked a cake. The snow continued on Saturday and this is one of my favourite pictures, I think it captures the fun my eldest had.
