My eldest woke up this morning at 6 am and promptly declared she wanted to see fish, guinea pigs, rabbits and hamsters. Its a good job I needed to pop out to buy dog food else I am not sure what we would have done. Off we went to the pet store, my youngest would spend all day watching fish
My eldest was happy we had seen all the animals she wanted so we headed home for lunch. We have worked out that just under 4 minutes makes the perfect boiled egg for the girls, any more and they cant dip and any less and they wont dip because its not cooked enough for them. I made them eggs and soldiers and the girls got to work dipping their eggs. I even had cries for more eggs, which is a rarity.
Whilst my youngest had her after lunch nap, my eldest and I watched films, read books and got a few jobs done. My youngest woke up and decided to play with her wooden jigsaw puzzles. I love this puzzle because the pieces are really chunky so she can easily grab them. She loves the bright colours and the shapes. Whilst she was doing the puzzle she kept singing to herself and it was very cute to listen to.
Both girls absolutely love the sit on car. My Mum and Dad bought it for my youngest for her birthday and both girls have loved sitting on it and pushing it round the house. The girls and I really wanted to play outside in the garden but the rain was too much. We did however have a wheely good time indoors.
This day I love Eggs, Soldiers, jigsaw puzzles and a wheely good time.
