my Mum

I am so glad we moved house to be closer to family.  Today none of us felt any better, my Mum had the day off work and very kindly came round to help me with the girls.  I am ever so grateful that she did.  The girls and I sat on my daughters bed to watch the snow fall whilst we waited for my Mum to arrive

There is something rather peaceful about snow falling.  My youngest was mesmerised and my eldest kept saying 'snowing Mummy'.  My Mum arrived and my eldest was ever so happy to see her Grandma, they spent all afternoon playing together.  My youngest had a nap and my Mum told me to go for a lie down too.

Whilst none of us are 100% at the moment its lovely having family close by.  It is really great to have that support network.

This day I love my Mum.

  2. Lovely! That's the thing I miss most while we're in the US, not having my mum up the road. It's such a huge help, and such a support. Hope you all feel better soon.

  5. You are lucky to have your Mum close by and to have a strong relationship with her. As for the snow, I may be a tad jealous of that too!

    1. I am very lucky to be close to my Mum in both distance and our relationship and I am so thankful for both. As for snow, make some indoor snow?
