Wakey Wakey Big Brown Bear

Our October Parragon Book Buddy book arrived and it could not be more appropriate for the weather outside.

We received 'Wakey wakey Big brown bear' by Tracey Corderoy. This is a beautiful story based on Friendship and fun.

It follows the tale of Big Brown bear who is getting ready to hibernate. Only he does not want to go to sleep, because he doesn't want to miss out on all the fun. He wants to play in the crunchy leaves and make snow bears. He wants to play with his friends. His friends tell him not to worry they will wake him up. They try everything but he will not wake up, so they devise a clever plan.

This is fast becoming one of the girls favourite books for bed time. The illustrations are light and really capture the story and the pace of the story is great for a bed time read. A really beautiful book.
