New Year and a New challenge

Last year I completed a diploma with distinction in Online reputation management and Social media Monitoring. I am also part way through studying for another diploma in Digital marketing with Web analytics and social media monitoring. Working freelance in digital marketing is something I truly love and enjoy. I strive to better my skill set and thoroughly enjoy learning new skills.

During the past two years I have had the privilege to work with a variety of clients both paid and unpaid. One of the most rewarding for me to date has been working voluntary in schools. I have wanted to gain an understanding of the new learning styles that my children will be subjected to. Things like phonics, for example, were not taught when I was at school and wanting to support my children with this has meant I have had to learn new skills from scratch. Whilst this has only been on a voluntary basis I have really enjoyed the insight into the classroom.

Just before Christmas I signed up to do a Teaching assistant diploma with NCC home learning. Whilst I currently have no plans to leave digital marketing, I am loving my time in the classroom and wanted to upgrade my skills so that I could be of further use within the school.

The course is online and can be done in my own time, which is perfect as Thing 3 will be arriving soon. The course consists of 7 modules and 7 assignments. You cannot progress to the next module until you have completed the one before it and everything is laid out in an easy to follow way. I am currently working my way through module 1 and am looking forward to the new challenge. Do you have any new challenges this New Year?
