This day I love.......: lambie

One of the items we had for our #Doctober party was a Walk n Talk Doc Mcstuffins. This was one of the most popular at the party.

Doc Mcstuffins really walks whilst pulling along her Doc Mobile. By pressing the siren on the Doc Mobile doc starts walking and singing. We had no issues with her walking across the carpet. Our dogs did take a bit of an interest with the noise from the siren. Doc can also be removed from the Doc mobile with ease to be played with separately.

The Walk n Talk Doc Mcstuffins set comes with Lambie, the Doc Mobile, a seat for Lambie, 3 small doctor tools and Doc Mcstuffins. What is also great is the the batteries are also included [3 AAA] meaning that you can use straight from the box. Walk n Talk Doc Mcstuffins was very popular at our party and one of the most played with. I can see it being on several of our guests Christmas list.

My girls are both big Doc McStuffins fans. Both girls really enjoy role play too and recently as both have been poorly they seem to be doing a lot of Dr role play to make each other feel better. Lambie Make me better therefore seemed to be a perfect fit for the girls

Lambie arrived and both girls took an instant like to him. Lambie is very soft and cuddly making her the perfect companion for cuddles

The size and weight of Lambie is perfect for both girls to carry. Some times toys with a battery unit inside can be a little heavy or not be very soft to cuddle, which is not the case here.

Lambie emits a pain sound and a red glow meaning she needs her medicine

My girls love to make her better. My eldest is 3 and she understands that you need to put the special medicine on the heart patch on Lambie

My youngest at 18 months, doesn't quite understand this and tries to put the syringe over the red glow. However this does not stop either girls enjoyment.

I did find it a little tricky to install the batteries, the unit is very snugly fitted in to Lambie

This is also where the on/off switch is. You need to switch Lambie off and back on again in order for her to emit her pain sound.

Lambie also features a night light, you activate this by pressing her hand

As you can see from the video the light doesn't last very long so we use it more to show Lambie is feeling better than as a night light.

Both girls enjoy playing with Lambie and giving her cuddles.

My daughters have recently discovered the Disney channel and have took a liking to Doc McStuffins. The time for your check up Interactive Doll is suitable for ages 3+ and includes the original song. What I like about it is that not only does it encourage imaginative play, but it also encourages sharing.

There are two dolls, one is Lambie and the other is Doc McStuffins herself. My youngest has taken a shinning to Lambie whereas my eldest prefers Doc McStuffins. Doc McStuffins has her own bag which contains an Otoscope, thermometer and comb. She also has a stethoscope. You can use these tools to perform a check up on Lambie and Lambie then interacts back. giggling when you check her temperature or you can hear a heart beating noise when you listen to her heart.
