This day I love.......: planes

It's here and it's finally time! The team honk baton arrived last night in South Yorkshire, collected by my husband (I had a small accident last night) from the lovely Jaime and penny

So what now you might ask, well I shall tell you.

The rather marvellous spencer from @adadcalledspen has a very amazing day planned for the baton in Barnsley. If you are in the town centre watch out for Toby tyke, a flotilla of mobility scooter, space hoppers and of course roller derby to name a few.

Saturday sees my girls take over

There will be rainbow slides, courtesy of @playmania_ltd, followed in the afternoon by a 3 mile walk through muddy puddles and if that wasn't enough each girl will then be swimming 5m. They are only 3 and 1 I think this is going to be an amazing achievement given how little they are and they would love your support

Sunday

Well here's the big one. We think we have covered most modes of transport, the rowing machine to represent boats, walked, run, swam, trains, cars but there is something missing......

Planes!

That's right planes!

Yes on Sunday I will be flying the baton, with a little help from my Fantastic Dad, over to hand over to team honk Hull. The current plan is to leave Netherthorpe around 10.30-11ish to arrive in Hull in time for lunch.

My girls are complete opposites in their personalities. My eldest loves princesses and pink, my youngest seems to really love trains, cars and aeroplanes. Whilst I have decorated each of the girls in relaxing plain colours, that would grow with the girls. I decided that their bedding would be age appropriate and what they like, and could be changed as they got older.

Character World has a huge range of bedding choice available and something to suit all tastes. The bedding is very easy to care for, easy to wash with no colour run and easy to iron. The single bed packs come with the duvet cover and a pillow case to match.

My daughters have a Disney Princess cover for my eldest and a Disney planes for my youngest. A perfect match for each of them. I really love that the covers are reversible too. Meaning that the girls can choose which picture they want.

With my eldest having sensitive skin and suffering from eczema I also want to make sure that the cover would be suitable for her. So far no flare up, after a few weeks of use. The girls really love their covers, they are wonderful colours and beautiful patterns. The feel of the covers are very soft and are very easy to put on and fasten at the bottom.

I took my daughter to see Disney Pixar Planes at the cinema and she has not stopped talking about it. She really loved the film. If like my daughter, you are a fan of the film then you will equally love the sound track. The sound track features original score composed by Mark Mancina. There are also 4 original songs and a bonus track. The track listing is as follows:
