Little man and his big adventure

Little man and I had our very own adventure today, we came to London. Yes I did a 2 hour train journey on my own with the little one. Lucky for me the train staff were absolutely amazing and showed some fantastic customer service. We arrived in London and our adventure began. First the tube!
The underground is a rather interesting experience with a pushchair. Lifts seem to be hidden in the darkest depths of corridors but none the less we managed it. Little man was mesmerised by the lights and sounds and the whooshing noises soon sent him to sleep.

We called in to see a wonderful PR company who showed us some of their clients and their fantastic ranges. We are slowly getting into holiday mode, with out first holiday coming up soon and so brands such as Teva who make some beautiful sandals were high on my radar. I was impressed with the ranges from Samsonite and American Tourister, having seen the press releases I was keen to see in real life.

The Star Wars suit cases caught my attention and I will admit to trying to sneak it out.

I think the girls however would love these from the original muck boot company. Perfect for muddy walks!

Little man then got to test out some of the Joolz pushchair range

He looked incredibly happy in them

We were sad to leave such a welcoming and friendly team but had another exciting appointment to attend. We once again braved the tube but this time learnt the hard way that not all tubes are pushchair friendly, so had to make a detour back to one that was and a lovely 20minute walk through London. The sun was shining and it was a glorious day, lucky as I had lost the rain cover for the pushchair!

Our next destination was Harrods and little man was once again taken in by all the wonderful shiny lights, particularly in the lift.

After a quick feed it was time to meet with the Cybex team for their UK launch of the Priam by Jeremy Scott. I had seen the press release of this but they do nothing compared to the flesh. The luxurious black sets off the gold angel wings. Designer bags, car seats and accessories to go with the new look Priam. Little man certainly seemed to have fun testing it out.

The functionality of the Priam has not changed it simply has had a very designer, very fresh and fashionable upgrade. The Priam will be exclusive to Harrods for a period of time before rolling out to a select few retailers.

After lunch at the Bulgari hotel and a chat with some lovely people we headed out for our final adventure. This time braving a taxi and a quick journey to the Mothercare AW preview.

Little man picked this moment to have a nap so I took a good look at the toys from Early learning and spotted a few Christmas present ideas

As well as some Christmas pieces

The new Peter rabbit range really caught my eye, with soft delicate neutral tones it would make an ideal gift for s new baby.

Of course my eye was naturally drawn to the superhero collection and with bright funky patterns and slogans I wanted to take it all home

I also spotted little mans Halloween outfit

Mothercare also seem to be about making bold statements be it with the bright colours and patterns from Little bird by Jools or the black and white from Myleene Klass

I was really impressed by the individuality of each range whilst maintaining this bold pattern theme throughout. My favourite range however was Smile, because each piece did just that!

Time seemed to fly and we had to rush to get back to the train, with only 2 minutes to spare! Little man and I had a fabulous day in London and would like to say thank you to everyone who invited us.

This day I love little man and his big adventure.
