After our disastrous day yesterday, my parents kindly offered to look after the girls tonight so my husband and I could go out to dinner. We managed to book a table at a local restaurant.
It was really lovely to have 'grown up' time and be able to spend quality time together. The food was really lovely which all in all made for a lovely evening. For us what makes this night more special is that both girls were in bed for 6 and both are still there 4 hours later.
I am now thinking of taking the opportunity to catch up on some sleep!

Its lovely to have to grown up time and its a treasure when you can. Great that you had that time way together. I hope your week goes well.
