a giraffe

'Mummy look over there, look Mummy look' Eldest jumping up and down with excitement and tugging at my coat, me with a rather puzzled look trying to see what is causing all the excitement

'Mummy look over there, its a giraffe Mummy'

I still cannot see anything but smile and agree.  Its not unusual we often play spot the dinosaur in the supermarket so figured this was another thing we were spotting.

'Mummy look at that giraffe'  she then points, I then see the giraffe.

 This rather threw me as it was in the middle of the street, but what a rather amazing thing to spot when you least expect it

This day I love a giraffe

    I love this! My LO is always saying "Mummy, there's a walrus (in doctor's surgery), a caterpillar (in lunch), etc. and he's always right (as I'm trying to convince him it's not there). There's always a sticker, picture etc

    Brilliant spot! I love how you were just playing along but then it actually turned out to be true. Makes me wonder how many times I've nodded and smiled and my daughter has been right!

    Ha ha! We had a similar moment when Austin spotted a pink elephant sitting on top of a car. An actual, papier-mache (or something) large pink elephant. Before I saw it too, I was about to book him in for a session with our local shrink....:-0
