I cannot believe that my blog turns 2 this month. In October 2012 I was on MAT leave with my youngest daughter and we had been in our new house only a few months. I was loosing track of my time on MAT and decided to record my previous mummy moments, loving the Internet, social media and all things technology thisdayilove was born. The name came to me in a dream, no it really did, and things started from then on.
What I love is that I have a permanent record of the past two years. Something to look back on and have captured some great memories, like my daughters first steps and my eldest first day at school. There are certain things that I cannot record online. I cannot keep my eldest first drawing from school, or a first birthday card, any newspaper cuttings or school photos. For this I need to do what my Mum did for me and create a scrapbook to record memories.
Luckily for me do crafts have recently provided me with everything I need to make a scrapbook from their wild rose collection. This beautiful collection means I can create a scrapbook for each of my girls. This now gives me the ability to record precious Mummy moments online and off line.
