For some time now I have been wanting to improve my fitness and general health. Along with running I have decided to try out a few other methods to see what works, what they are really like and if I see any health or fitness benefits.
My fitness journey was kick started this weekend when I visited the Predator Nutrition store in Leeds. The staff have finally helped me to understand more about protein and other health benefits. I tried my first ever protein shake in Syntha-6 edge and was pleasantly surprised by the taste. In fact this lead me to purchase 3 protein bars to try, which I shall let you know how I get on with.
The shake remind me of Angel delight and I was therefore really pleased to know it was low in sugar. I cannot wait to try the protein bars, in particular the cookie and cream flavour.
Over the next few months I am going to be documenting how I find the following:
- Vibration plate training
- Ultra sonic Cavitation
- Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Training Guide
- Jillian Michaels - Extreme Shed and Shred
- 10 minute workout DVDs
I have purchased all of the above for my own use and have decided to record my own journey and hopefully provide some insight into others as they begin theirs.
