A surprise visit for breakfast
When the girls woke up this morning they were a little confused. I had not made them breakfast and it was not sat waiting from them like usual. Instead they were told to get dressed as we would be having breakfast somewhere special. We arrived at our local Wyevale garden centre and was greeted by an elf who gave us directions for breakfast, the girls were now very excited.
Another elf showed us to our table and the girls got stuck in straight away pulling Christmas crackers whilst waiting for breakfast to arrive.
There was even time to do a spot of festive colouring.
Breakfast was full English for all of us and my youngest kept saying 'Beans?for breakfast?' They rarely have a full English so it is a treat for them to have one. I was surprised at how much they did eat, especially given the excitement of all the elves!
The elves said the girls had been really good at eating all their breakfast and so deserved a treat. First however they needed to sing Jingle bells. As they came to the end of Jingle bells they got a real surprise as in walked Father Christmas!
The girls were a little star struck but soon got round to having a chat and a giggle with Father Christmas
After all the excitement the girls sat back down at the table and began creating some festive ginger biscuits.
What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning. The girls had a wonderful time and I think are going to want to do this every morning.
This day I love a surprise for breakfast
Thanks to Wyevale garden centre for providing us with tickets for Breakfast with Father Christmas. All words are my own opinion.
