Last Thursday we hosted our first twitter party. The girls were very excited to be having their friends round for dinner and to play with the Sofia the First micro sets. Both girls kept asking if it was time for the Sofia party. I set up some snack food, as well as making dinner and our guests arrived.
Everyone settled around colouring in pictures and making tiaras.
We followed along on twitter using the #sofiasmicroworld. The girls did get hungry and so we had a small food stop before making micro food. We used cutters and cake and then decorated with icing and sweets. This was a huge hit.
After something to eat it was time for pass the parcel.
Of course there was more playing with Sofia toys.
The girls had lots of fun. It was soon time for our last game, a treasure hunt. The girls all ran round the room discovering the hidden eggs.
It wasn't long before all the eggs had been found and opened.
It was a lot of fun and a really great evening. All the guests have asked to come again and my girls loved spending time with their friends. There were some great prizes won on twitter too. All our guests went home with a Sofia the First DVD and I can see many of them asking for the new DVD 'Holiday in Enchancia' which is released on 3rd November 2014.
