In addition to the wonderful Books, you can also make your own personal snowflakes. Now I have to admit this gets a little addictive. You enter the name of the person you are making the snowflake for and it appears instantly, only the addition of a surname, middle name or initials changes the way the snowflake looks. Using capital letters, spaces or other characters also slightly alters the design. This means you can create some really interesting snowflake patterns.

Once created you can share via social media or have them made into a poster. The posters are printed on a stunning 400gsm uncoated Spledorgel card, they are 30cm x 30cm and cost £14.95. You can even choose the colour of the snowflake from a selection, making it truly personal. When you do buy a poster a percentage of the sale also goes to Polar bear international who are helping to conserve Polar bears and their habitat.

There is always one person I struggle to buy a Christmas present for [or birthday]. I don't know why, it is just they seem to either have everything or change their mind so often I struggle with what they would like. I like to put thought into my presents and buy something that is clearly for that person.

I discovered the Book of Everyone and was intrigued so I went to have a look. Did you know that #peopleareamazing? I scrolled down the page of the site and saw that the Book of Everyone has teamed up with Age UK so this Christmas every book purchased goes towards the “gifting” of a book for an elderly person who may not receive a gift. Helping to bring a smile to an elderly person’s face this Christmas (a time which can be lonely for some) because after all amazing people deserve an amazing gift, #peopleareamazing.

The teaming with Age UK along with the bright funky colours of the site made me want to look further. The Book of Everyone is for anyone aged 1 - 101. Each Book is filled with amazing statistics, such as you share 50% of your DNA with a banana and more personal information such as your Chinese star sign, price of shopping when you were born and the top TV shows in the year of your birth.

I began creating my book and it was really simple and straight forward to do. There are options for you to add photos, if you wish, and add your own personal information or choose from example information. It was a really quick process to make something very special.

Within 7 days the book had arrived. It has a lovely feel to it and is clearly printed to a high quality standard. I have really enjoyed looking through the book and learning more such as I have named an ant [after the person who book this is, I cannot spoil the surprise] and they can go and watch this ant online. I have also burnt 1.5 calories reading too, I love the little touches!

I have a huge sweet tooth, I think everyone knows that by now. One thing I cannot resist is sweets, in particular marshmallows. At our wedding day our centre pieces were jars filled with marshmallows for our guests to enjoy. I therefore know my marshmallows, or so I thought.

At Britmums live this year I met a company who make personalised marshmallows, boomf. In fact their original idea was to print your Instagram images onto marshmallows. They have since extended this so you can upload images or use Facebook photos too.

I really loved this idea. Imagine how great it would have been at our wedding to have had personalised marshmallows. It would have made great favours and a much better centre piece. I decided to give boomf a try.

My preferred choice of web browser is chrome and for some reason I was unable to select my images but when I switched to Internet explorer I had no problems. After this switch I selected images from my Instagram account and arranged them onto boomf. The site gave me advice onto the best photos to choose, those that were not too dark. I found the site really easy to use and other than the issue with chrome has no further issues placing my order.

Boomf is delivered worldwide for free and mine arrived within a few days. Boomf is designed to fit through the letter box so there is no need to wait in for it to be delivered. I opened the box and was really pleased with what I saw.

The images were great and of a good quality. I loved how they looked and thought that it would make a fantastic gift. Although they looked fantastic the proof is obviously in how they taste. The girls could not wait to get stuck in

They tasted great. My youngest quickly showed one straight in her mouth so she could have another, and my eldest kept asking for more. She did point out that it had her photo on so therefore it was hers. It was difficult to argue with that logic. I did manage to sneak one past her though, I loved them so much I am wanting to order another box. They are vanilla flavour but not too sweet and are flavoured just right. Great texture and they seem to melt in your mouth.
