My eldest is much better today. Her temperature has remained normal all day and her spots look a lot less red. My youngest is a little worse, high temperature and tired all day. Also off her food. The weather was nice today and my eldest wanted to go outside to play. I think she is fed of staying in the house.
I wrapped my girls up warm and we went to play in the back garden. I would have took them further but my eldest is still classed as contagious. I love our back garden it has everything I wanted as a child. There is a wooden play house, lots of trees and hiding places, swing slides and a play tower. I am looking forward to summer, if we have one, so that I can tidy up the garden and do some planting. I am excited to tidy it up for the girls and make it ours.
We went outside and the girls played on the swings. My youngest then got a little fed up and wanted picking up so we went with my eldest into the tower to watch for planes. My eldest loves planes and spends ages looking up at the sky for them. She jumps for joy when she sees them too.
I watched her face light up as we played in the garden. Playing with the slides and her outdoor toys, she was just so happy to be out of the house. I really think it has helped her feel normal again. She loved every second of it.
This day I love our garden

ReplyDeleteThanks me too
DeleteSounds like a bit of fresh air was definitely in order. So hard when they are poorly but that's when a lovely garden like yours comes into its own. Thank you for joining me on Country Kids and I hope the girls continue to feel better.
ReplyDeleteYes it really helps them, even if it was just for a short while
DeleteHope they are better soon. Lovely pictures :)
ReplyDeletelovely pics, its always nice to get outside and sometimes be all that is needed to make you feel abit better, although its often the last thing anyone wants to do when they are feelign ill..
ReplyDeleteMy daughter would stay outside all day if she could regardless of weather or how ill she is! She is a real out doors person takes after me, I much prefer exploring outside than sitting in
