Capturing memories

When I saw a competition on Tots100 in association with Printer Pix to win a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 bridge camera and memory card, plus £100 to spend on Printerpix website, I had to enter. Photography is something I am looking at developing this year. It is an area I really want to get better at to enable me to capture more moments with my girls.

The picture I have chosen holds lots of memories for me. It was taken on my eldest first birthday, the first party I had organised and the first birthday cake I made. This day saw my daughter decide she no longer wanted to crawl. She had taken steps before but this was different. This time whenever she fell she stood straight back up and continued to walk. The first time she fell asleep on Daddy was after this party. The party was also the first time since our wedding all the family had got together.
