A little bit of me time
I love my girls and love to spend time with them but sometimes, especially after a 3am wake up call, I just need a bit of me time. I think it is nice sometimes just to have a bit of me time. It gives you time to re group and refresh and recharge your batteries. The girls this morning started off my pampering session by setting up their very own hair salon
After I had my hair done, the girls went to play with Grandma for the afternoon and I headed over to LA Skincare. I was really looking forward to some pampering.
Louisa was really lovely and explained about the facial and what the treatments were for. I got myself ready and began to relax
Louisa is very passionate about skin care, so much so that she developed her own range. The LA Skin care range contains
. No artificial colours
. No parabens
. Not tested with animals
. Manufactured in the UK
. Manufactured to European Regulation
. No animal by products
. Naturally effective
. Prepared by nature
. High percentage of active ingredients'
. Effective products
Louisa therefore knows exactly what she is using on her clients and why. Her passion is clear. Each item is suitable for all skin types and fragrance to be suitable for both men and women. This makes skin care easy. The foaming facial cleanser smelled amazing, light and refreshing. My skin felt clean without feeling that the product was still left on my skin. Next came the facial sugar scrub. It smelt like sherbet and I really wanted to eat it. It is definitely a scrub, one that works. Removing dead skin cells naturally.
My favourite part though was the chocolate enzyme peel mask. This smelt, looked and felt like Nutella! I was very very tempted to try some, but resisted! It is recommended that you build up the time that you use the face mask as some people experience a tingling sensation, which is completely normal. I felt a slight tingling on my chin but the rest of my face felt glowing.
The Chocolate enzyme peel mask is an alternative to a chemical peel. The mask works really deep into the skin removing dead skin and promoting skin renewal. After the mask was removed I had a little pinkness on my cheeks but this disappeared after an hour, and is completely normal.
Hyaluronic Moisturiser was applied next. This again was a lovely smelling product which soaked instantly into my skin, leaving my skin feeling soft without the greasy feeling I often feel from moisturisers. The great thing about Hyaluronic Moisturiser is it acts as a botox alternative, therefore helping to reduce visibility of fine lines and wrinkles.
Finally Louisa applied Facial Serum this oil is full of Vitamin E and essential oils which help to increase the production of collagen.
Overall my skin still feels lovely and soft. I am feeling very relaxed and refreshed and ready to get up at 3am with the girls again!
I really love that the LA skincare range has been designed and developed to be simple and easy to use. Not only this but each product works and smells fantastic. The packaging has been designed too so not to be too feminine making it great for a gift for Dads, as well as Mums
I feel really lucky to be able to offer one reader the chance to win a tub of the Chocolate Enzyme Peel. This was perhaps one of my favourite parts of the facial. Entry is easy and via the Rafflecopter below, giveaway closes on Monday 9th June Midnight. Good Luck!
