Christmas Gift Guide - Top toys!

Having three young children who seem to request every item they see advertised for Christmas, I can fully understand the minefield that is toys for Christmas presents.  Argos predicted in July that the top selling toys would be:

Zoomer Chimp
LEGO City Volcano
Nerf Modulus Tri-Strike
SelfieMic
Snuggles My Dream Puppy
BB-8
Paw Patrol Air Patroller
Vtech Toot Toot Drivers Goldmine
Tiny Treasures Baby Doll
Design a Friend Tiffany
Fisher Price Codeapillar
Furby Connect

I recently attended the Dream Toys event in London which revealed the top toys for Christmas and to be honest the list is very similar

Silly Sausage
Thomas & Friends TrackMaster Sky-High Bridge Jump
Snuggles My Dream Puppy
Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage
Nerf N-Strike Elite Hyperfire
Shopkins Chef Club Hot Spot Kitchen
Speak Out
Star Wars Rebel U-Wing Fighter
Friends Amusement Park Roller Coaster
Hatchimals
SelfieMic
Paw Patrol Air Patroller
Even the top children YouTube stars predicted:

Skylanders Imaginators (Activision) (£49.99)
Hatchimals (Spin Master) (£59.99)
Nerf Modulus Tri-Strike Blaster (Hasbro) (£59.99)
Play-Doh Ice Cream Castle (Hasbro) (£19.99)
Air Storm Firetek Bow (Zing Global Ltd.) (£29.99)
Anki OVERDRIVE Supertrucks (ANKI) (£59.99)
 Furby Connect (Hasbro) (£99.99)
 Zoomer Chimp (Spin Master) (£119.99)
Silly Sausage (John Adams) (£19.99)
VTechKidi Super Star (VTech) (£49.99)
Star Monsters (Magic Box Int. Toys, S.L.U) (£0.99-£8.00)
Super 11 The Ultimate Football Strategy Game (Premium World Ltd) (£29.95)

These lists are great as they give you an indication of what will be popular.  I gave my girls several well known Toy catalogues and asked them to chose what they really wanted for Christmas.

Puppy In My Pocket Pretty Pet Palace

Having read all the guides and seen the toys in action these are my top picks:

Soggy Doggy - This is a really fun and interactive game.  The dog is really soft and the game looks so much fun, I think a true boxing day fun game and perfect for the whole family.

Fisher Price Codeapillar - This is such a brilliant way to get children interested in coding and logic.  It is simple to use and lots of fun, I think even Little Man would enjoy watching the Codeapillar move around the floor.

Wooden Toys - I love wooden toys and Aldi have a huge range of wooden toys coming for Christmas.  It would be really difficult for me to pick just one from the range as they were all fantastic.

CREATE-A-WORLD - I absolutely love to encourage my children to use their imagination and create-a-world does just this.  It is available from Simply Good and is a large game with over 60 colourful, handmade felt pieces that allow children to be as creative as they like.

I hope this gives you a few ideas for Christmas, what have your little ones asked for?

I have not received compensation in any shape to write this post.  All words are my own opinion.
