This day I love.......: Vital Baby

You may have seen on social media my monthly posts with the hashtag #parentingthevitalway. These images are part of a campaign I am delighted to be a part of with Vital baby. Vital baby make a huge range of baby products, and now we are entering the wearing phase with little man are looking forward to testing more of the range.

Our first item we were sent was a bottle of sterilising water. This for me is now a must have item. The water is sprayed onto the surface to clean and sterilise and then can be used straight away, no need to wash or clean after. The spray is safe to drink, should the girls ever get hold of it, and is safe from newborn.

I simply love this sterilising water. When little man drops his dummy, we wash and then spray meaning he can have his dummy and I don't need to carry spares. If he drops his bottle I can spray it first to re sterilise and I can also spray his teether toys or any surface when we are out. It is such a fantastic item to have and is one of my must haves.

We have also been sent a cup for little man. The cup features a valve which can be removed meaning it can be free flowing or spill proof. Little man is taking some practise to use a cup, but it's small size and rubber grips make it perfect for little hands.

The Vital Baby Trap a Snack makes it easy to carry snacks whilst out and about. The lid is made of slatted plastic which is incredibly soft and makes it easy for little hands to get snacks out without the snacks spilling all over your handbag.

I use the Trap a snack when I take the girls swimming. I can fill with the girls favourite snacks, be it dried fruit, cheese or rice crisps and I know that the snack will stay in the tub. This removes those half opened packets in my bag that spill everywhere and generally means less mess.

The girls were a little reluctant to use the trap snap at first, I think unsure what they were putting their hand into. Once I should them what to do and that food comes out they were more than happy to use. My youngest loves the easy to carry soft handle on the side. She can carry her snack around and I am not worried about her tipping it up and making a mess.

The Vital Baby Trap a snack is perfect for on the go feeding. For taking snacks with you and not having to worry about the mess or half opened packets.

Vital baby Soft Flip-Spout Free-flow cups come in a choice of three colours, blue, pink and orange. The cup has two handles, which is a lovely change to other flip-spout cups on the market. They are lovely and soft to hold as some handles can feel quite rigid, but these have a good flex to them. They have a slight angle to them too, which helped my daughter with the grip.

I was impressed with how easy the lid was to get on and off, yet how it remained securely in place. Often the case is that I struggle to get the lid back on cups, as they are usually too tight. This was not the case with the Soft Flip-spout Free flow cup. When the soft spout is in a down position the cup does not leak. This was great for me so that I could put the cup in my bag and take it out and about. I also prefer a free flow cup so this was a great bonus that I could use free flow when out, without the fear of leaks in my bag.

The spout itself is a lovely soft plastic. My youngest is 1 and she really loves the feel of the spout and is very happy to drink from the cup.

It holds 180ml, is PVC, latex and BPA free. My daughter has a latex allergy and she had no problems with this cup. An extra bonus is that it can be used on the top shelf of the dishwasher.

Overall I am really impressed with the Soft Flip-Spout Free-flow cup, and my daughter loves it too

The girls and I have had a rather busy day, as we were invited to attend a Focus group with MaByLand and Vital Baby. The girls were well behaved throughout and I was very proud of them. The group was lively with lots of discussion and a chance to look at a new range of products. It was a good afternoon and great to be out of the house.

On our way home in the car the views became more like winter with frost in the trees and on the grass, it was very beautiful. If I was not driving at the time I would have taken some pictures. My eldest was really excited and kept asking if we were on our way to Santa house.

We got home a little late and the girls wanted dinner quick, so I did them Spaghetti Hoops. Both girls really enjoy them as its a rare thing that they have them. I was feeding my youngest the entire time but at some point she managed to do this

Yes that is a Spaghetti hoop in her hair. I have no idea how she did it, though it was rather funny. My eldest was laughing at her which is who she is smiling at in the picture.

This day I love Spaghetti hoops.
