This day I love.......

Having the girls share my passions and likes is such an amazing feeling.  I have never forced them to like anything but simply allow them to experience different opportunities in order to make up their own mind.  One of their loves is wrestling, although they still call it pants man and they get incredibly excited at the thought of watching 'pants man' live.

WWE live recently toured in Leeds and we were invited to attend.  Upon telling the girls I was met with squeals of delight and for the whole day the question was asked [several times] if it was time to go yet.

The atmosphere inside the arena was electric, a real buzz of excitement filling the air.  The joy on the children's faces and the adults too, as they hurried quickly to their seats.  Watching them peer over and looking towards the ring in the centre of the arena.  Checking watches and phones, tweeting with joy and wondering when the event will begin.

Then the lights go out.

The arena is black.

Cheers and chants start, lights flicker on mobile phone and the presenter shouts ' Hello Leeds' .  The girls look over at me and smile, giggle and you can see their legs jumping up and down with excitement.  Wrestling is about to start.

Watching WWE live is a totally different experience to watching at home on the TV.  The wrestlers seem more relaxed and seem to feed from the energy within the crowd.  Their is a real sense of awe as you watch the strength and agility of each wrestler.  Each amazing in their own right.  Their signature moves met with cheers from the crowd, and occasionally a few comedy twists thrown in much to the delight of the audience.

The wrestlers spend time outside of the ring too which is always met with positive chants from the crowd.  In fact the wrestlers appear to be trying new and inventive ways to take the action outside of the ring, often high flying and always spectacular!

Just when you thought you had seen everything wrestling could offer, one wrestlers comes along and changes it all.  A home grown talent Neville was met with perhaps the loudest cheer of the night.  Certainly 99% of phone users in the audience had their phone out at one point to try and capture a shot of the man who gravity forgot.  Higher than any other wrestler by a long way.  The blur in the photo is him as he twists and turns through the air, how he does it I have no idea but it is fascinating to watch.

My youngest daughter always wants to know when they will get the table out.  At the start of every match she asked if the tables were coming, she was not disappointed.  At least one of the matches featured tables and chairs.

In fact in terms of entertainment I think this was my favourite so far.  There was plenty of additional stories but without diluting the amount of wrestling.  Even the referees got involved in the action.

Several matches featured belts which in some ways always amuses me, as the outcome of the match is almost predictable.  How would you explain to other fans why the belt is held by someone else? However this does not deter from the enjoyment or the edge of your seat count, as you wait those 3 seconds to see who has won.

The evening seemed to fly past, the girls laughing and enjoying themselves.  They loved every second watching WWE live and even got a giggle in the car park queue when we passed 4 men dressed up, and in full dress I might add, as famous wrestlers from my childhood!

This day I love an evening with my girls

I was provided with tickets in exchange for this post.  All words are my own opinion.

I haven't been able to spend much time with just the girls recently and wanted to take them out for an afternoon of fun together.  My daughters and I love wrestling, they call it pants man, and as WWE Live Wrestlemania revenge was on tour near us it made for a perfect excuse to leave baby with his Dad and us girls go out for the afternoon.

The girls were incredibly excited, not only to spend some time with me but also to be at wrestling.  Their favourite part is joining in with the chants, and also table matches.  The first part did not disappoint as the chants 'Feed me more' started echoing through the arena.

Followed by 'Wassup'

Then came one of my favourite wrestlers, the Big show!

The girls love the Big Show too, he is pure entertainment to watch.  At this point he had the girls laughing so hard, it was lovely to hear.

We were incredibly impressed by the 8 WWE divas and their match.  There were some incredibly well executed moves and it is always nice to see something a little different

I loved spending the afternoon with just the girls and we had a fantastic time watching WWE Wrestlemania revenge

Although it was lovely to get home to cuddles from the Little man!

This day I love return of the pants man

Those rare emails you get that you read, cannot believe it, read it again and then think it cannot be real.  Then you get a confirmation email and you realise that actually this is happening.  That happened to me recently when I had an email inviting me to VIP party at WWE Live.  Not only was I getting to watch WWE, I was watching Monday night Raw Live and attending a VIP party.  I was a little over the moon.

The evening started at the VIP party which was just fantastic.  I cannot begin to describe the evening and Thing 3 even got to meet some of the superstars.

My friends and I mingled, chatted and had a really good time.  The evening seemed to fly by but it was soon time for the main event.  Raw!

The event was been shown live and as a result there were a few commercial breaks but this just added to the atmosphere.  Thing 3 seemed very happy and so was I.  I was watching WWE, and loving it.  I even got to see some of my favourite acts.

As the last match came on I began to feel a little sad that the night was coming to an end.  It had been such an amazing evening that I wanted more.  It was almost as if WWE had read my mind as they delivered one of the most amazing and unforgettable experiences of my life.

To this day I still cannot believe I have achieved a childhood dream of mine to see the Undertaker live.  He is an absolute legend and I had chills when his theme tune played.  We all looked at each other and said 'No way!'.

My two little wrestling buddies were missing as it was far too late for them, I got home at 1am.  When they woke up though they were very excited and happy with Mummy WWE goodies that they would not take them off!

It was a truly amazing experience and one which I will never forget.  Thank you so much WWE!

This day I love feeling like a VIP!

The Mo Run 5K was the final race I had booked in my diary before Thing 3 arrives.  I woke up feeling rather sad knowing it was my last race, although I was hoping it was not my last run.  It was a wet and windy morning and the last thing I wanted to do was go out.

I collected my race number and tag and waited in the car where it was dry and warm!

I met up with a friend and fellow Mo Sista on the very muddy start line.  After deciding against taking part in the warm up which involved squats and jumping, not the best idea when pregnant, the race started.

The route was very muddy and very slippy, I decided against running as falling when pregnant is never a good idea.  Instead took it steady and had a lovely walk with a fantastic Irish man who was also walking the course.  The advantage of taking it steady was I could take some pictures on the way round.

I finished the Mo Run in 53 minutes and whilst not fast, did not come last and I finished the course.  I didn't do it for a time and know after Thing 3 arrives I will be able to do it faster.

That evening was a night out for me and the girls.  The girls were excited as I told them we would be going to wresting, or to see Pants man as the girls call it.  After a stressful 1hr and 48mins queueing to get into the car park, we made it just in time for the first match.  The girls were excited it was a tables match.

The Dudley Boyz wrestled in the open match and are famous for table matches.  I was excited to be watching the Dudley boyz!  They did not disappoint and the girls loved it.

The girls had smiles on their faces all the way through, and kept shouting tables all the way through.  They even started joining in with some of the chants with their favourite continuing at home too 'This is Awesome' and 'You look Stupid' are the two most frequently used.

After convincing my youngest that she had to keep her trousers on and could not walk around in her pants like the wrestlers it was time to watch my eldest favourite wrestler Sheamus.  She calls him Whisker Pants man, which is brilliant but she absolutely loves him.

My favourite match of the night came on next.  I really love the Big Show.  I have so much admiration for him and love his facial expressions.  No matter what the crowd chant I do NOT want him to retire.

It all started to become a little too much for my youngest who started getting very tired.  As I am unable to pick the girls up at the moment I made the decision to leave part way through the final match before she fell into a deep sleep on the chair.

I had a lovely evening with my girls and they both loved watching WWE live.  They have asked when they can go again, although they still call it Pants Man!

I have many happy memories of watching wrestling as both a child and an adult.  I remember going to see wrestling with my Dad and he bought me a giant foam hand.  At university I can remember going to watch wrestling on numerous occasions with my house mate and the many late nights watching wrestling on TV.

Wrestling has always been a part of me.  It brings back wonderful childhood memories and reminds me of many happy occasions.  I wanted to share some of these with my girls and decided to take them with me to WWE live.  This would be their first wrestling experience.

WE had amazing seats and were sat ringside, the girls were right in the middle of it all.

The girls were completely taken in by the whole atmosphere.  It is quite difficult to explain if you have never been before but wrestling is one huge community.  The two gentlemen sat in front of us realised my girls were having trouble seeing so they moved seats to some empty seats to allow my girls a better view.  I want to say thank you to them.  The whole wrestling community is the same, they care.  They all have one thing in common and a respect for each other.

The girls loved the whole show and their favourite like mine was a table, ladder, chair match.  Although there were no ladders.  Both girls laughed out loud and have asked to go again. [Apologies for the poor quality photos]

I am so pleased my girls enjoyed their first taste of wrestling and that I can now share my love of wrestling with my girls.

This day I love Tables, Ladders and chairs

I was provided with tickets to see WWE live in exchange for a post.  All words are my own opinion.
