This day I love.......

Little Man loves to sit up.  He loves to watch the world go by and take in his surroundings.  With the nice weather the girls have spent most days outside playing and Little Man has wanted to join them.  He has not been very content laying on the picnic blanket in the garden, and when sat up with pillows he has an urge to start crawling and gets frustrated, so I needed a solution.  The Babymoov compact chair provided this.

Whilst the Babymoov compact chair is designed for babies over 18 months of age, it worked for Little Man.  It is also designed to act as a portable highchair and using the straps can be securely fastened to a chair to provide a high chair when out and about.  We use it in the garden, as a seat for Little Man to play and watch his sisters.

He was incredibly happy with his new found freedom.  He was secure in the chair and well supported, and loved having the tray to pat his hands on and play with his toys.

There is some assembly required out the box, this was a little fiddly, but once done it does not need doing again.  Everything folds together incredibly compact which makes it really portable.  There are also 3 adjustable heights making it grow with baby and last longer.

Given the weather was so nice we decided to have lunch in the garden.  The girls sat at their picnic table and Little Man made full use of his Babymoov compact chair.

Little Man was incredibly happy to be able to have his lunch outside and with his sisters.  He loved his new perspective on the garden and the outside world.

We will be taking the Babymoov compact booster chair with us when we go for picnics or when we go to visit parents as it is perfect for travelling and for use both indoors and out.

The compact booster chair was provided for review, all words are my own opinion.

Saturday morning I took the girls shopping.  I am looking for a new rug for our front room and had heard of a new store opening in Sheffield.  Nest.co.uk had put on an open day to mark their store opening and had lots of activities on for children.  I thought it would be nice for the girls to get creative whilst I did some shopping.

Eldest colouring

The girls got stuck in with the colouring whilst I took a good look around the store.

I found loads of lovely items for our home and even a few rugs I liked.  The girls however found a sofa that they thought was very comfy

It was really lovely that the girls had some fun activities to do whilst I could look round the store, especially when rug shopping.

This day I love getting creative.

I have many happy memories of watching wrestling as both a child and an adult.  I remember going to see wrestling with my Dad and he bought me a giant foam hand.  At university I can remember going to watch wrestling on numerous occasions with my house mate and the many late nights watching wrestling on TV.

Wrestling has always been a part of me.  It brings back wonderful childhood memories and reminds me of many happy occasions.  I wanted to share some of these with my girls and decided to take them with me to WWE live.  This would be their first wrestling experience.

WE had amazing seats and were sat ringside, the girls were right in the middle of it all.

The girls were completely taken in by the whole atmosphere.  It is quite difficult to explain if you have never been before but wrestling is one huge community.  The two gentlemen sat in front of us realised my girls were having trouble seeing so they moved seats to some empty seats to allow my girls a better view.  I want to say thank you to them.  The whole wrestling community is the same, they care.  They all have one thing in common and a respect for each other.

The girls loved the whole show and their favourite like mine was a table, ladder, chair match.  Although there were no ladders.  Both girls laughed out loud and have asked to go again. [Apologies for the poor quality photos]

I am so pleased my girls enjoyed their first taste of wrestling and that I can now share my love of wrestling with my girls.

This day I love Tables, Ladders and chairs

I was provided with tickets to see WWE live in exchange for a post.  All words are my own opinion.

With the start of my new job I wanted somewhere, just a space really, that I could sit down and do my work.  Knowing that I would be spending rather a large amount of my time sitting at a desk, I hunted high and low for a chair that would give me great support and not make me sweat.  I hate that sticky feeling on your back from certain chairs if you sit on them too long, so comfort was of great importance.

Lakeland Furniture have a wide variety of chairs for sale.  I was rather spoilt for choice.  Lots of colour combinations and at some good affordable prices.  Having never been happy in the past with a leather chair I chose the Brasil Mesh Ergonomic chair.  I liked the look of the chair and that the lumbar support was movable.

The chair arrived and I set to work putting it together

chair pieces

When I first saw all the pieces I will admit I was a little worried I might put things together in the wrong order.  I need not have worried as everything was clearly labelled with excellent and easy to follow instructions.

I managed to put the whole chair together in around 10 minutes, which I thought was very good going.  The chair is able to swivel a full 360 degrees and can be made higher or lower.  The mesh back allows air to circulate so that I do not get that sticky feeling and stay nice and cool.  Most importantly I love how comfortable it is!

The girls have taken a shine to it and I often find them sitting on it and wanting to spin in circles.

I was provided with a Brasil Mesh Ergonomic chair for free for this review.  All words and opinions are my own.

I came across the Chicco Twist at the baby show.  I was instantly drawn to the Twist and wanted to know more.  The Chicco Twist is a relax baby chair suitable from 12 months to around 5 years.  I love the size of the Twist at 38 cm tall and 50 cm wide it is a great size for small children.  My 2 year old can pick up the Twist and move it to where she wants it and my 1 year old can sit in it comfortably without looking lost.

the girls and their twists

The colours of the Twist are bright and bold and great for children  The covers are removable making the Twist easy to keep clean.  The Twist adds a touch of vibrance and fun to any room.  What I love about the Twist, is its functionality.  It turns from armchair, to chaise longue, to sofa bed in a matter of seconds and what is more is that my daughter can do it herself.

My daughters eyes lit up the first time she saw her chair.

So much so she could not wait to try them out.

Ever since then its gone everywhere with her.  The girls had to use their chairs in the dens they built.

I am looking for some chairs for the girls to sit on in the garden.  I had seen a few from Asda so decided that today I would let the girls test them out

comfy chairmoon chair

testing chairs

The first chair was a moon chair and it looked great, if I am honest this is what I wanted.  My youngest sat in it and laid back, she looked ever so comfy, but then she could not get out of it.  The next was really padded and again she looked comfy but when she climbed on it, it tipped over.  My eldest is taken by things with cup holders built in.  She therefore preferred the chair with the cup holder.  I am still very undecided as I also saw a set of chairs with a small table, too many decisions to make.

Shopping for chairs is obviously very thirsty work

drinks

My youngest had to have two drinks.

Whilst we were out my husband built some shelving units for the garage.  We bought them over a year ago when we moved into the house but have not had the time to put them together.  My husband, myself and my Dad checked the shelf units and checked again.  We all confirmed they had sent the wrong pieces.  This meant we had to do some cutting, I saw we I mean my Mum and Dad.

Whilst waiting my youngest kept herself entertained in the garden, with two watering cans, and two windmills.

Thankfully our measurements were correct and we could finish building our shelves, which I might say look fantastic!  Fingers crossed we might be able to start unpacking those boxes soon.

This day I love 2 by 2.
