Sometimes things don't go quite according to plan. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow.
The girls really wanted to ride their bikes this weekend and so on Sunday afternoon that is what we did, sort of anyway.
My eldest started off riding her bike but her sister, who had opted to ride her scooter, zoomed off in front. My eldest really did not like this and started sulking.
What started off as a lovely way to spend some time together ended up with a sulking eldest daughter and abandoned bikes.
My youngest seemed oblivious to the fact and kept whizzing up and down the path on her scooter.
Sometimes we make the best plans and sometimes it just does not happen.
We returned home after an hour in the park.
My eldest seemed to perk up once we got back and we actually had a really fun afternoon. I guess sometimes the girls just need a bit of time at home or playing at Grandma and Grandad's house and not the bike ride they think they need!
