This day I love.......

My name is Spotty Dog.  This time last year I was in the RSPCA after a person dumped me and the rest of my litter.  I am not a pure bred Dalmatian and but my Mummy loves my unique look and how I am the only one that looks like me.  My Mummy takes good care of me and she knows what I like and what I do not like.

One of my favourite games to play is hide and seek.  This is my favourite hiding spot and I often take things from the house and hide them here.

I love to join in the activities with my little people.  They love to play with me too.  I haven't yet quite mastered painting but I will one day.

Any food that is left in my reach is mine, or anything which smells like food.  I don't like it when my Mummy tells me not to eat things but she does give me treats if I am a good girl

I love finding new things to play with.  When my Mummy goes shopping sometimes she comes back with these white rolls.  They are so much fun.  I can chase them and jump on them and they make lots of little pieces for me to then play with.

Mummy loves to run and I love to run with my Mummy

In fact I get so happy I bounce all over

There is one thing though that I really do not like and that is water! It is my biggest #Pethate. My Mummy only has one photo of me in water.  When I was a puppy I fell into a lake, it was cold and I could not get out, Mummy rescued me.  Since then I will not go in the bath, the shower and I run away for any form of water, in fact I will jump over puddles.

Lucky for me I have a Mummy who loves me and so if I do encounter any water I know that I can cuddle up on my Mummies knee and she will make it all better

The RSPCA is where I started my life and I was fortunate enough to find a forever home.  The RSPCA help to protect those animals less fortunate them me.  By protecting your dog or cat with the RSPCA and their partnership with MORE TH>N Insurance, each policy sold donates £20 to the charity.

This Sunday evening my girls dropped my phone and broke it.  Which means I am currently unable to take photos.  Apologies therefore for the lack of Instagram updates and blog updates.

Sunday saw me complete the Leeds 10K and I was unable to record my times or take photos without my phone, but I have to say it is one of the prettiest medals I own and cannot wait to add to my Instagram feed.

The last photos I took were on Saturday at a local fun day.  The girls had a lot of fun on all the rides but their favourite was the trampoline bungee.  We queued for quite some time but that did not put the girls off.  They loved bouncing as high as they could and reaching to the sky as they did.

Watching the girls with huge smiles on their faces was the highlight of the weekend for me.  I cannot wait for my phone to come back so I can take some more photos

My eldest daughter worked out how to open my container of dried spaghetti, which prompted some rather messy play on my kitchen floor

spaghetti all over the floor

In an attempt to contain some of the mess, I put the spaghetti into the tough spot and let the girls use their imagination.  My youngest was very quick to stand on the spaghetti and listen to the crunch.  She enjoyed breaking it and throwing it back into the tub.

My youngest then fetched the watering can and started filling it full of spaghetti.  My eldest decided to tease the dog who wanted to join in.  Messy play is fun for small children and small dogs too.

Dog and spaghetti

It wasn't long before both girls got really into the spaghetti.  My youngest loved the sound when it snapped and not content with standing on it, soon started squishing with her hands.  She also started getting other items to put in with the spaghetti.  She was testing the noise they made and how the moved the spaghetti around.  Her favourite was the ball and bouncing it in the spaghetti.

My eldest however had other ideas and her favourite thing to do, was to make spaghetti angels.

As the weather was nice when I got home from work, the girls and I went outside to play.  We spent the evening playing on the trampoline

The girls did lots of giggling.  There favourite thing though was jumping on me.  'All squish Mummy' was what my eldest kept shouting.  It really was lovely to spend some time playing with my girls, and they giggled the whole time

This day I love bouncing and giggling

This weekend has probably been the first weekend this year that we have been able to get into the garden to start tidying up.  Tidying up is what we did, well we made a start.  We went around picking up the twigs

collect twigspick up stick

 and then the leaves

leaf bucket

We made some 'leaf' castles which my eldest thought was loads of fun.  We explored the leaves for the many creatures that maybe inside and we found this

insect

We found some lovely creepy crawlies and my eldest loved watching them.

After some exploring and filling up a huge bag of leaves the girls and I had a play in the garden

After all the bouncing and tidying up we had a lie down on the trampoline and looked up at the Oak tree to watch for birds

The girls are always given a lot of chocolate over Easter and so I usually buy them a present along with a few small chocolate eggs.  For Easter this year I have got them a trampoline.

The girls love to play outdoors and I figure it would be something we can enjoy as a family to get outside and play together.  I let my daughter choose which one she wanted and told her this morning it was going to come.  She was so excited when it arrived, she got dressed at lightening speed and kept pointing outside saying' The garden is there Mummy, Fix trampoline I want to bounce.'  I rang my Dad for a bit of help putting it together, My eldest grabbed phone and said ' Grandaddy come quick, Fix trampoline, I want to bounce'.  I think she was a bit excited.

So even though it was very cold outside and kept snowing the girls, my Dad and I put together the trampoline and spent the rest of the day playing on it.

This day I love the trampoline.
